Slovakia: Inflation slows in March
Consumer prices remained unchanged in March, following February’s 0.1% increase. The reading partly reflected higher prices for clothing and footwear being balanced by lower prices for transport, and alcoholic beverages and tobacco.
Inflation came in at 2.3% in March, down from February’s 3.0% reading, while annual average inflation remained at 2.6%, matching February’s reading. Meanwhile, harmonized inflation dropped to 2.4% from 3.1% in February.
