Slovenia: Industrial activity dips in June
Industrial output declined 2.3% year on year in June (May: -2.2% yoy). Looking at the details of the release, manufacturing output dropped at a faster pace in June, and the decrease in mining and quarrying output worsened. Meanwhile, energy output contracted at a slightly smaller pace.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial output rose at a softer pace of 0.9% in June (May: +8.9% mom). Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at minus 3.0%, down from May’s minus 2.4% reading.
