Slovenia: Industrial sector gathers momentum in October
The industrial sector picked up in October, with growth in annual terms rising to 2.7% from 1.9% in September. The acceleration was chiefly led by faster growth in manufacturing production, along with a softer contraction in mining and quarrying output. Conversely, output in utilities supply fell more sharply than in the month prior.
Meanwhile, average annual growth in industrial production inched down to 2.5% from 2.6% in September.
On a month-on-month basis, industrial output jumped to 2.1% in October after September’s 0.4% rebound.
