Slovenia: Decline in industrial activity softens in November
Industrial output dropped 0.8% in November (October: -1.3% yoy). The figure marked the best performance since February. November’s softer drop was largely due to an improvement in manufacturing activity. In addition, mining and quarrying production soared.
On a monthly basis, factory output rose 0.2% in seasonally-adjusted terms in November, which was notably below October’s 2.7% expansion. Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at minus 5.9% in November, down from October’s minus 5.8%.
