Slovenia: Harmonized inflation eases in January
Harmonized inflation fell to 9.9% in January from December’s 10.8%. Lower price pressures for housing, transport and health more than offset higher price pressures for food and clothing.
The trend pointed up, with annual average harmonized inflation coming in at 9.6% in January (December: 9.3%). Meanwhile, consumer price inflation fell to 10.0% in January, from the previous month’s 10.3%.
Finally, harmonized consumer prices fell 0.10% in January over the previous month, coming in below December’s 0.10% increase. January’s result marked the weakest reading since September.
