Slovenia: Inflation edged up in April
Consumer prices rose 0.8% from the previous month in April, after a 0.7% month-on-month increase in March. The monthly uptick was driven by higher prices for footwear and package holidays. Meanwhile, harmonized consumer prices increased 0.7% month-on-month in April, matching March’s result.
Inflation edged up to 1.7% in April (March: 1.6%), while harmonized inflation rose to 1.8% (March: 1.6%). Annual average harmonized inflation, meanwhile, matched March’s 1.9% reading.
