Slovenia: Consumer prices continue to fall in October
Consumer prices increased a seasonally-adjusted 0.31% in October over the previous month, swinging from September’s 0.39% fall. October’s result marked the sharpest increase in prices since June, and was driven by a faster increase in clothing prices, as well as a softer decline in prices for recreation and culture.
Consumer prices declined 0.1% year-on-year in October, a more moderate drop than September’s 0.3% fall. Annual average inflation fell to 0.4% in October (September: 0.5%). Lastly, harmonized prices fell 0.5% on an annual basis in October, which was a more moderate drop than September’s 0.7% decrease.
