Spain: Housing permits increase in March
The Spanish Board of Architects approved 10,899 new construction permits in March, according to data published by the Ministry of Public Works. The figure was above the 8,603 permits granted in March 2021 and the 8,366 permits granted in February 2022. On an annual basis, permits increased 26.7%, following February’s 7.0% rise.
Meanwhile, the moving three-month sum of permits totaled 28,165 in March, which represented a 18.4% increase from the same period of 2021, and followed the 18.7% rise recorded in February.
