Spain: Harmonized inflation rises further in October
Harmonized inflation rose to 3.5% in October from September’s 3.3%. A softer fall in prices for electricity was mainly behind the acceleration.
The trend declined, with annual average harmonized inflation coming in at 3.9% in October (September: 4.2%). Meanwhile, core inflation fell to 5.2% in October from 5.8% in September.
Lastly, harmonized consumer prices rose 0.26% in October over the previous month, following the 0.58% increase seen in the previous month.
