Sweden: Economic sentiment moderates in December
The economic tendency indicator (ETI) fell in December to 117.1 from 117.6 in November. Readings above 100 indicate stronger economic growth than normal, while readings below 100 indicate weaker economic growth than normal.
The slight fall was mainly due to a decline in the retail and service subsector confidence indicators. Meanwhile, the consumer confidence sub-indicator dropped to 98.7 in December from 99.5 in November, while the business confidence sub-indicator dropped to 116.3 in December from 118.0 in the prior month.
