Sweden: Economic sentiment moderates in March
The economic tendency indicator (ETI) dopped to 110.3 in March, down from February’s 113.1. Readings above 100 indicate stronger economic growth than normal, while readings below 100 indicate weaker economic growth than normal.
The moderation was largely due to a sharp decline in the retail subsector confidence indicator. Meanwhile, the consumer confidence sub-indicator fell to 73.5 in March from February’s 89.0, while the business confidence sub-indicator rose marginally to 114.9 in March from the prior month’s 114.7.
