Sweden: Economic sentiment improves in February
The economic tendency indicator (ETI) rose in February to 113.0 from 109.8 in January. Readings above 100 indicate stronger economic growth than normal, while readings below 100 indicate weaker economic growth than normal.
The increase was mainly due to a strong rise in the retail subsector confidence indicator. Meanwhile, the consumer confidence sub-indicator dropped to 88.9 in February from 89.8 in January, while the business confidence sub-indicator rose to 114.8 in February from 109.9 in the prior month.
