Sweden: Economic sentiment picks up in November
The economic tendency indicator rose to 94.7 points in November from October’s revised reading of 94.0 points (previously reported: 93.6 points). Values above 100 indicate stronger economic growth than normal, while values below 100 indicate weaker than normal economic growth.
November’s increase was due to an increase in business confidence: the sub-indicator tracking confidence among businesses increased to 96.9 points in November from 94.5 points in October. However, confidence among consumers fell, with the sub-indicator showing a reading of 91.9 points in November, down from 92.7 points in October.
