Sweden: Industrial output rebounds in December
Industrial output—excluding energy—increased 1.7% month on month in seasonally adjusted terms in December, which contrasted November’s 0.9% decrease. Looking at the details of the release, December’s acceleration was due to a notable rebound in both manufacturing and mining production.
On an annual basis, industrial production rose at a faster rate of 1.6% in December (November: +0.7% yoy) Meanwhile, the annual average of industrial production was steady coming in at November’s 1.5% in December.
