Sweden: Industrial production buckles in September
Total industrial production excluding energy decreased 1.0% in September in seasonally- and calendar-adjusted terms, down from the 0.3% decrease in August. September’s reading was dragged on by sharper output contractions in the mining, quarrying and manufacturing sectors.
On a year-on-year basis, industrial production rose 1.0% in September, down from the 3.2% reading in August. Annual average growth in industrial production decelerated to 2.0% in September from 2.1% in August.
