Sweden: Industrial output accelerates in February
Industrial production rose 1.0% month-on-month in seasonally-adjusted terms in February, contrasting January’s 1.0% decrease. February’s turnaround largely reflected recoveries in manufacturing and mining output.
On an annual basis, industrial output rose at a quicker rate of 2.5% in February (January: +1.0% yoy). Accordingly, the trend improved slightly, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at minus 4.2%, up from January’s minus 4.4%.
