Switzerland: KOF Economic Barometer eases in September
The KOF Economic Barometer came in at 95.9 in September, down from August’s 96.2. As a result, the index remained below the long-term average of 100, pointing to a muted near-term outlook for the Swiss economy.
The slight decline was due to bundles of indicators from the manufacturing and other services sectors. In contrast, indicators from the finance and insurance sector and the construction industry were more positive.
