Switzerland: Inflation remains anemic in April
Consumer prices rose 0.2% over the prior month in April, down from the 0.5% rise logged in March. The largest price increases were recorded in the categories: clothing and footwear; household goods and housekeeping; and transport. On the other hand, lower costs of healthcare, and restaurants and hotels partially offset the rise.
Inflation was stable at March’s 0.7% in April, while annual average inflation was steady at 0.9% for the fifth consecutive month.
