Switzerland: Inflation holds steady in September
Consumer prices increased 0.02% over the previous month in September, a smaller increase than August’s 0.25% increase. The moderation was largely driven by a more moderate rise in prices for housing and energy. In addition, prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages dropped.
Inflation was stable at 0.9% in September. The annual average variation of consumer prices ticked up to 0.1% in September (August: -0.1%).
