Switzerland: Inflation inches up in October
Consumer prices rose 0.2% over the previous month in October, up from the 0.1% increase in September. October’s uptick was primarily driven by higher prices for transport, and clothing and footwear, but was partially offset by lower prices for recreation and culture, and restaurants and hotels.
Inflation notched up to 1.1% in October from 1.0% in September. Annual average inflation, meanwhile was steady at 0.9% for the third consecutive month in October.
