Taiwan: Inflation declines to lowest level since August in November
Inflation came in at 2.9% in November, which was down from October’s 3.0%. November’s figure marked the lowest inflation rate since August. The result was driven by moderating price pressures for transportation and education and entertainment.
The trend pointed up slightly, with annual average inflation coming in at 2.5% in November (October: 2.4%).
Finally, consumer prices dropped 0.28% from the previous month in November, contrasting the 0.38% increase seen in October. November’s result marked the weakest reading since February.
