Taiwan: Inflation stable in December
Consumer prices increased 0.03% from the previous month in December, contrasting November’s 0.06% drop. The rebound was driven by rising prices for food and housing. In addition, prices for education and entertainment fell at a more modest pace.
Inflation came in at 0.1% in December, unchanged from the previous month’s reading. Similarly, the trend was unchanged with the annual average variation of consumer prices coming in at November’s minus 0.2% in December.
