Thailand: Decline in manufacturing production sharpens in December
On an annual basis, manufacturing production dropped 6.3% in December, which was greater than November’s 4.6% fall. Meanwhile, the trend improved modestly, with the annual average variation of manufacturing production coming in at minus 5.1%, up from November’s minus 5.3%.
Lastly, manufacturing output dropped 1.0% month-on-month in seasonally adjusted terms in December (November: -1.9% mom).
