Thailand: Consumer prices record greatest decline in over two years in November
Consumer prices decreased 0.4% in annual terms in November, a sharper decrease compared to October’s 0.3% year-on-year fall. November’s result represented the largest fall in consumer prices since February 2021.
Annual average inflation fell to 1.8% in November (October: 2.3%). Meanwhile, core inflation fell to 0.6% in November, from October’s 0.7%.
Lastly, consumer prices dropped 0.25% in November over the previous month, broadly unchanged from October’s 0.28% drop.
