Thailand: Inflation declines to lowest level since June in September
Inflation came in at 0.3% in September, down from August’s 0.9%. September’s result marked the weakest inflation rate since June.
Accordingly, the trend pointed down, with annual average inflation coming in at 2.8% in September (August: 3.3%). Meanwhile, core inflation edged down to 0.6% in September, from the previous month’s 0.8%.
Lastly, consumer prices fell 0.36% from the previous month in September, contrasting August’s 0.55% rise. September’s result marked the weakest reading since May.
