Turkey: Industrial output growth softens in February
Industrial output grew 8.8% in year-on-year terms in February, down from January’s 11.3% increase. The print reflected a marked uptick in mining and quarrying output, and manufacturing production. On the other hand, energy output contracted fractionally. Meanwhile, annual average industrial production growth rose to 1.9% in February from January’s 1.8%.
Lastly, output rose 0.1% month-on-month in February, down from the prior month’s 0.9% rise.
