UAE: Dubai inflation rises to highest since March in October
Inflation in Dubai came in at 4.3% in October, up from September’s 3.8%. October’s result marked the highest inflation rate since March.
The trend was unchanged, with annual average inflation in Dubai coming in at September’s 3.6% in October.
Lastly, consumer prices in Dubai increased 0.28% in October over the previous month, below the 0.87% increase logged in September. October’s result marked the weakest reading since June.
Meanwhile, the statistical office recently released new data for the UAE as a whole. According to the release, inflation in the UAE as a whole fell 3.6% in Q1 2023 from 4.6% in Q4 2022.
