UAE: Consumer prices growth moderates in June
Consumer prices increased 0.19% from the previous month in June, coming in below the 0.25% increase seen in May. June’s result marked the weakest reading since March, with the print partly driven by weaker food price growth.
Consumer prices fell 0.5% year-on-year in June, following May’s 0.4% year-on-year fall. The trend pointed up mildly, with the annual average variation of consumer prices coming in at minus 1.7% in June (May: minus 1.8%).
