Ukraine: Industrial output growth slows in June
Industrial output expanded 1.1% compared to the same month of the previous year in June, moderating from May’s 5.4% increase. The slowdown was primarily driven by weaker manufacturing output. In addition, electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply output contracted at a sharper rate.
On a seasonally-adjusted monthly basis, factory output fell 0.7% in June, easing from April’s 3.0% drop. Meanwhile, the trend improved, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at plus 0.4%, contrasting May’s minus 0.1%.
