Ukraine: Inflation steady in July
Consumer prices fell 0.60% in July over the last month, swinging from the 0.20% rise recorded in June. July’s result marked the sharpest fall in prices since July 2019. The drop was primarily driven by a steep decline in prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages.
Inflation held steady at June’s 2.4% in July, while annual average inflation came in at 4.0%, down from 4.6% in June. Meanwhile, core consumer prices were unchanged over the same month last year, matching June’s result.
