United States: Home price growth accelerates in December
The S&P/Case-Shiller 20-city composite home price index increased 1.1% month-on-month in December, which up from November’s 1.0% rise.
Home prices remained elevated at 18.6% in annual terms in December, up from November’s 18.4% jump. Home prices rose at the quickest rate in Phoenix—for 31 months in a row now—followed by Tampa and Maimi. Overall, all 20 cities registered double-digit price growth in December.
