Uruguay: Inflation hits eight-month low in November
Consumer prices rose 0.28% in November over the previous month, a softer increase than the 0.58% rise logged in October. The reading largely reflected falling house prices as well as moderating price pressures for housing and utilities.
Inflation edged down to 9.6% in November, from 9.7% in October, marking the weakest inflation rate since March. Meanwhile, annual average inflation ticked up to 9.7% in November (October: 9.6%).
