Vietnam: Inflation falls to lowest level since August in November
Inflation dropped to 3.4% in November, moderately below October’s 3.6% and comfortably below the government’s 4.5% target for this year. November’s figure marked the weakest inflation rate since August. Looking at the details of the release, food, housing and transport price growth rose at weaker rates in November.
In addition, the trend pointed down slightly, with annual average inflation coming in at 3.3% in November (October: 3.4%).
Lastly, consumer prices increased 0.25% in November over the previous month, accelerating from the 0.08% increase seen in October.
