Vietnam: Inflation holds stable in March
Inflation came in at 4.0% in March, matching February’s reading and within the government’s 4.0–4.5% target range. Slower rises in prices for food, and housing and construction materials were offset by a faster uptick in transport prices.
Annual average inflation edged up to 3.2% in March (February: 3.1%).
Lastly, consumer prices fell 0.23% in March over the previous month, swinging from the 1.04% rise recorded in February. March’s result marked the weakest reading since April 2023.
