Unemployment in Argentina
Argentina's unemployment rate from 2013 to 2022 was characterized by volatility and a general upward trend, reflecting economic instability. The rate was relatively stable in the early part of the decade but began to rise as the country faced increasing fiscal challenges and inflation. The situation worsened with the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to a double-digit unemployment rate in 2020. Unemployment fell in the next two years however, thanks to recovery from the pandemic.
