Unemployment in Turkey
Turkey's unemployment rate from 2013 to 2022 was generally in double digits amid strong growth in the size of the labor force. The COVID-19 pandemic further impacted job markets. By 2022, despite some economic recovery, unemployment remained a concern, particularly among youth and in the face of persistent inflation and currency devaluation.
