República Checa: Economic sentiment falls in May
The economic sentiment indicator, published by the Czech Statistical Office (CSO), fell to 94.1 in May from 97.2 in April.
The business confidence index declined to 95.2 from April’s 98.0. The result came on the back of weaker sentiment in the industry and trade sectors.
Additionally, consumer sentiment decreased in May, with the index falling to 88.5 from 92.9 in April. The decrease reflected households’ growing concerns over the economic situation and their own financial situations.
